Preston Smith is the Founder and Principal of Matterhorn Medical, launched in 2025 with the mission to elevate service standards in the orthopedic device industry. With a strong foundation in medical device sales and clinical support, Preston brings nearly a decade of hands-on experience to the company’s leadership.
 

He began his career in Dallas at Parkland Hospital as a trauma representative with Smith+Nephew, and later relocated to OKC to launch the Oklahoma market, where he has spent eight years building a reputation for reliability, in-depth product knowledge and growing strong surgical team support. His work in high-volume trauma centers laid the groundwork for his entrepreneurial move into founding Matterhorn Medical.

As Principal, Preston oversees all areas of business operations, including strategic partnerships, customer relations, education, hiring and contract negotiations. His leadership is rooted in a results-driven mindset and a commitment to building long-term relationships across the healthcare landscape.

Corey Albertson is a Principal at Matterhorn Medical, with a focus on customer relations in the Tulsa area. He brings a strong background in total joint reconstruction and a well-rounded understanding of the orthopedic industry, having previously worked under a distributor across multiple product segments.

With years of experience navigating the complexities of orthopedic sales and surgical support, Corey plays a key role in managing client relationships, ensuring responsive service, and delivering value to healthcare partners throughout his territory.

Known for his entrepreneurial mindset and clinical expertise, Corey is committed to providing solutions that align with both surgeon needs and patient outcomes. His leadership in Tulsa strengthens Matterhorn Medical’s broader mission to deliver high-quality, collaborative service across the region.
